Climate Ready Stories | Bridging the gap in Bendigo

Out of the frying pan and into the fire for newly arrived Australians fleeing persecution elsewhere.

Those who experience racism and discrimination have more hurdles to overcome in order to better prepare for changes to climate - but are also more resourceful and have knowledge of how live in challenging conditions. Paw Eh Thout Kya is a youth leader with the Karen Association of Bendigo and she's passionate about supporting her community to thrive in their adopted city.
