Climate Ready Stories | Leading the way in Maryborough

Young people will experience changes to climate more keenly than older generations, but how can adults prepare them for these impacts when they haven't dealt with it so well themselves.

Troy Butler is the school groundsman and sustainability officer at the Maryborough Education Centre, a school in the most socio-economically challenged shire in the region. Troy loves working with the students, and seeing something of his own story in theirs has helped him find a way to support them into the future that isn't dependant on the adults around them.
